THE VIRGIN MARY'S AWAKENING:
AND THE BIRTH OF A LIVING SOUL,
CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS

Though some have been swayed to believe the exoteric concept of Mary as being an actual human, esoterically she was something much greater than that and is [inherit] in each one of us.

THE VIRGIN MIND is symbolized by the alegorical story of the Vigin Mary. She is the "mother" representing purity of soul (psyche). Her mind is "virginal" and uncorruptable by her open-mindedness above the world's programming.

The virgin Mary is not fashioned to just the physical woman but is rather analogous to the fertile earth that nourishes a seed to grow in correspondence to the mind; the seed of the soul.

The conception of the child (Jesus) was spiritual and through grace alone. In applying the Hermetic law of Correspondence, sex had taken place on the spiritual level apart from the physical, thus giving the term "virgin" a double meaning.

THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION is the sudden alchemization of matter + spirit; matter being the temple of God that houses the human mind. Spirit giving the breath of life to matter.

"Baby Jesus" is the new born spiritual initiate, the Christic living soul (born from above). Thus offering salvation as it grows within the being and replaces the earthly mind (personality) with the Divine...in due time.

THE SON OF GOD (Christ) is the living soul which is birthed from the virgin mind to which it was once dead (asleep)

THE GOSPEL OF MARY is a short manuscript that was discovered in Cairo, Egypt 1896, A majority of the manuscript is unfortunately missing. There is a part of the manuscript that tells of Mary's awakening aka the birth of Christ:

GOM 10:
Peter said to Mary, "Sister, we know the Savior loved you more than all other women. Tell us the words of the Savior that you remember – the things which you know that we don't, and which we haven't heard."

In response Mary said, "I'll tell you what's hidden from you." So she started to tell them these words: "I," she said, "I saw the Lord in a vision and I said to him, 'Lord, I saw you in a vision today.'

"In response he said to me, 'You're blessed because you didn't waver at the sight of me. For where the mind is, there is the treasure.'

"I said to him, 'Lord, now does the one who sees the vision see it /in\ the soul /or\ in the spirit?'

"In response the Savior said, 'They don't see in the soul or in the spirit, but the mind which [exists] between the two is [what] sees the vision [and] it [that …]" (the pages after this are missing)...

Though there is not much to this verse, it is very telling. The center screen (zero point) between the physical and spiritual is the place where Mary experienced her rebirth (the birth of Christ Consciousness within her skull).—She did not waiver. —To suddenly experience what's behind the veil can be frightening [to the mind] as it reveals the truth of ones existence. Just like a baby cries at its birth so too does the initiate when God is born within him. It happens in the blink of an eye, where time is forgotten and all is revealed.

"The soul of Mary* became surrounded by the divine living substantiality, not relatively to her terrestrial but to her celestial nature, so that the terrestrial state was merely supplementing her being. Her soul, with the Word of life that became human in her, was to pass with it through the death and wrath of the Father into the celestial consciousness, and thus her external human nature had to die in regard to earthly life, so that she could live in God. But because she has been blessed, and has carried in her womb the object of the covenant, that which was celestial in her consumed her terrestrial part" —Jakob Boehme
